Cancellation & Refund Policy

Clear, fair terms for cancellations, refunds, and subscription changes

1. Overview

At Whaterr, we believe in straightforward, transparent policies. We have crafted this Cancellation and Refund Policy to be fair to our members while also ensuring the sustainability of the community and the quality of the Services we provide.

This policy applies to all paid Whaterr subscriptions including T.E.A.C.H Community Member, LAUNCHPAD, and COPILOT tiers, as well as any future paid offerings under the Whaterr ecosystem.

2. Cancellation

2.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel your Whaterr subscription at any time by:

We will confirm your cancellation within 2 business days. Please retain this confirmation for your records.

2.2 When Cancellation Takes Effect

Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You will retain full access to your tier's benefits until that date. Your account will then be downgraded or closed as requested.

For example: if your billing date is the 15th of the month and you cancel on the 10th, your access continues until the 14th, after which it will not renew.

2.3 Immediate Cancellation

If you wish your account to be closed immediately rather than at the end of the billing cycle, please specify this in your cancellation request. Immediate closures are not eligible for a refund of the current month's payment unless a valid refund reason applies (see Section 3).

3. Refund Policy

3.1 Standard Subscriptions (T.E.A.C.H Tiers)

Our subscriptions are billed monthly. Our refund policy is as follows:

3.2 New Member 7-Day Guarantee

We want you to be confident in your decision to join. New members who cancel within 7 days of their first subscription payment are eligible for a full refund, no questions asked. This applies only to first-time subscriptions and not to renewals or tier upgrades.

3.3 Events and Workshops

For paid events (workshops, retreats, training programs) outside of the subscription:

3.4 Tier Downgrades

If you downgrade from a higher tier (e.g., COPILOT to LAUNCHPAD), the downgrade takes effect at the next billing cycle. No partial refund is issued for the current month. You will retain all higher-tier benefits until your current billing period ends.

3.5 Tier Upgrades

If you upgrade during a billing cycle, the difference in cost is charged on a pro-rated basis from the date of upgrade. Upgraded benefits are available immediately upon confirmation of payment.

4. How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days of confirmation. Refunds are returned to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. We are not able to issue refunds to a different payment method.

Processing timelines may vary depending on your bank or payment provider. If you have not received your refund within 10 business days of our confirmation, please contact us.

5. Collective Fund: Non-Refundable

A portion of all T.E.A.C.H membership fees is allocated to the T.E.A.C.H Collective Fund. This portion is non-refundable in all circumstances, as it is pooled and disbursed to support community members through scholarships, free sessions, and professional development grants.

6. Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that life happens. In exceptional circumstances, such as a medical emergency, bereavement, or other significant life event, we may make exceptions to this policy at our discretion. Please reach out to us at support@whaterr.com and we will do our best to support you.

Our goal is always to be fair and human-first in how we handle these situations. We are a community of mental health professionals. We understand that circumstances beyond your control can arise, and we will treat every request with compassion and care.
